This Associate Attorney will report to a Partner and focus on unlawful detainer matters representing landlords. As an Associate Attorney with this firm, you will be responsible for all phases of litigation, from case intake to conclusion, and must be capable of independently managing multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site full-time in San Francisco; remote schedules will be considered for tenured attorneys with unlawful detainer experience. The firm is open to hiring any level of attorney, from recently licensed to a tenured litigator, so all California licensed attorneys interested are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of case administration, including client correspondence and strategy formulation.Prepare and file various pleadings, motions, and legal documents relevant to unlawful detainer proceedings.Engage in rigorous law and motion practice, including drafting and presenting motions before the court.Conduct thorough discovery processes, drafting and responding to requests in a timely manner.Represent clients at court appearances, including hearings, settlement conferences, and trial calls.Conduct legal research to support case arguments and stay abreast of developments in housing law.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management and client representation.
